Welcome To The Etobicoke Camera Club

ECC welcomes photographers of all skill levels with interests in digital or print images.

Established in 1957, the Etobicoke Camera Club (ECC) provides an opportunity for people to meet, enjoy a common interest in photography, share ideas and improve their photographic and presentation abilities.

Meetings are held Mondays from 7:00 PM to approximately 9:15 PM EST. Some meetings are a hybrid format (In-Person or Zoom) while some are Zoom only.

A Blast From The Past

From time to time we will feature an old issue of our newsletter The Viewfinder in this space. This edition is from 10 years ago and was published September 2014. We hope you enjoy your trip down memory lane.

We also have current versions of our newsletter for you to enjoy.

Land Acknowledgement

We wish to acknowledge this sacred land on which Etobicoke Camera Club operates, land that has been a site of human activity for 15,000 years. The territories include the Huron-Wendat, Anishinabek Nation, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nations, and the Métis Nation. The territory was the subject of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Iroquois Confederacy and Confederacy of the Ojibwe and allied nations to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. Today, the meeting place of Toronto is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work in the community, on this territory.

The Etobicoke Camera Club is a proud member club of:
  • Canadian Association for Photographic Art - CAPA
  • Photographic Society of America - PSA
  • Ontario Council of Camera Clubs - O3C
